howard sternThe New York Post ran a story today that speculated on the possibility that immensely successful radio host Howard Stern might replace CNN’s Piers Morgan as judge on America’s Got Talent.

“I didn’t say I want the job,” Stern told the Post. “I heard they want me for the job. And I said I’m a fan of the show and I’m honored that they would consider me. I don’t even know if they are considering me…I think I’d be better than the Hoff. Who knows. But right now there’s nothing to report about.”

Apparently Stern said on his Siriux XM radio show recently that he would accept the job if they paid him a ton of money for very little work.

Most people wonder about Stern’s ability to keep his comments PG for network television, something Stern alluded too in his conversation with the Post.

“Listen I’m not insane. If I were on a network television show, I wouldn’t curse,” the SiriusXM host swore to us. “I’ve been on David Letterman. I don’t go on and curse like a raving lunatic. You broadcast for whatever is appropriate.”
