‘Bored to Death’ Starring Zach Galifianakis May Return as a Movie

The HBO comedy series Bored to Death may possibly be gearing up for an unexpected return. There are rumors reportedly going around that the series will be made into a movie, but its still too early to be sure.
Bored to Death was cancelled last November after its third season finished up. Each season had eight episodes; pretty short lived if you ask me. The series starred Zach Galifianakis, Ted Danson and Jason Schwartzman as the wannabe crime busting crew.
TV Blend reported that at the Monte Carlo Television Festival, Danson told journalist Pierre Langlas that a Bored to Death movie might be created.
“Ted Danson annonce un fort probable 90mn Bored to Death pour HBO! (Ted Danson said there was a strong possibilty of a 90-minute installement of Bored to Death for HBO),” Langlais tweeted.
There is still no word on whether or not the film will be in all theaters or stay restricted to the HBO network, TV Blend reported.
Although it is a long way off, is it safe to assume that the film will spark more interest in the series? We’ll just have to wait and see how great of a comeback Bored to Death is willing to make.
