Charlie Sheen: Roasting Me Is Like Trying to Reason With a Volcano

charlie sheen, comedy, comedian, comedy central roastThe much anticipated Comedy Central roast of Charlie Sheen now has a pair of awesome promos. In the latest TV ad, Ozzy Osbournes “Crazy Train” is playing in the background, and the much maligned actor is the conductor to said train, surrounded by beautiful women. The ad lasts 15 seconds and mostly consists of the former Two and a Half Men star asking a rhetorical question and using ridiculous metaphors.

“So Comedy Central thinks they can roast Charlie Sheen?” the deluded actor asks, only to answer with, “That’s like trying to reason with a volcano. Like trying to duct tape the wind to the ground. Like trying to catch a tsunami with a sippy cup.”

Check out Charlie’s new ad here:

Or…maybe it’ll be like trying to make a fun of a guy who lost out on millions because he was too into cocaine and hookers and then went all over national television claiming he was a warlock, “exposed people to magic,” and had a mind that was “not of this world.” Which would actually be a lot easier than “duct taping the wind to the ground.”

The roast will occur Sept. 19th, with or without sippy cups. Already on tap are comedians Anthony Jeselnik, Jeffrey Ross, and TMZ’s Harvey Levin. It was recently reported that former train wreck himself Mike Tyson will also take the stage – if only to take some of the comedic pressure off of Sheen.

In all honesty, I love Charlie. Without him we wouldn’t have cool party shirts that say, “I am on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen.”
