Charlie Sheen Rumored To Be In ‘Anger Management’ TV Series

charlie sheen, comedy, anger managementAccording to reports swirling the web, actor Charlie Sheen could be back on television soon, and the star of his own show. Teaming up with Sheen will be the former producer of the hit comedy “The Drew Carey Show,” Nick Helford. The TV series will be called “Anger Management,” and produced by Lionsgate, although nothing is certain at this point.

According to deadline.com, “No final decision has been made and Helford is expected to have at least another meeting with the producers but he is considered a strong choice to create a starring vehicle for Sheen having done the same in the past for Carey with ABC’s The Drew Carey Show and George Lopez with the comedian’s eponymous ABC sitcom.”

Sheen was forced off of his previous hit show Two and A Half Men due to excessive partying with pornstars and cocaine. His subsequent TV interviews in which he claimed super powers, tiger blood, and to having a mind that is “not of this realm,” also had something to do with it.

Sheen will be roasted on Comedy Central this upcoming September 19th. As much as he may annoy some people, you can’t deny his talent or confidence. His best days may be behind him (Wall Street) but who knows? Playing a guy who needs “Anger Management” is probably just the right kind of role for him.
