The creator and star of the hit sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm has teamed up with HBO yet again to bring us another piece of comedic art.
For months, Larry David has shoved the world of comedy in the dark. Fans have been left groveling for the title, cast and plot of his newest film project. Finally, everything is clear.
David’s new HBO movie Clear History will feature a distinctly awesome cast. From studs like Michael Keaton and Bill Hader to comedic goof balls like Danny McBride and JB Smoove. Not to mention the sultry vixens Eva Mendez and Kate Hudson and seasoned actors Amy Ryan and Philip Baker Hall.
David teamed up and co-wrote the film with Alex Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mendell. This is the same entente that was responsible for Sacha Baron Cohen’s recent grotesquely funny marvel The Dictator.
David shows no favoritism casting himself in the lead as Nathan Flomm, a broken hearted hermit. Nathan loses the start-up money to his electric car company and consequently his wife. Realizing he took a bigger bite than he can chew, Nathan decides to flee to a tropical island near the uncharted waters of Massachusetts.
After a decade under the assumed identity “Rolly DaVore” our protagonist is finally content. Rollys’ tranquility is broken when archenemy and ex-boss Hamm (Will Haney) shows up on the Island to re-decorate his own mansion.
Fueled by retribution Rolly devotes all time and energy to his personal crusade: making Hamm miserable and driving him away for good.
