Futurama Head-In-A-Jar App

Futurama fans can have the show in their back pocket – literally. Series creator Matt Groening, along with cast members, presented the latest “Futurama Head-In-A-Jar Creator” app. An announcement was made at 10:30 p.m. EST on a live online stream, “Futurama Live!”
LaughSpin reported that since the app was so successful on iOS, it’s now available for Android users and includes more features than before. The new options, based off of fans’ input, include an updated Robot color palette, new backgrounds, a new Decapodian head-shaped Dr. Zoidberg, and additional eye, hair, and nose options.
“The fans spoke and they wanted an android version of the app and the ability to make Zoidberg,” said Ben Hurst, VP of Comedy Central Mobile & Emerging Platforms.
The app allows users to be a part of Futurama by creating their own characters. You can choose from a human, robot, or alien and customize the features to make the character your own creation, LaughSpin said.
If that’s not enough to make a Futurama fan want to download the app, it also comes with clips from the current season to save you from boredom. For anyone who loves Futurama, this is the perfect phone app. It is available for free in the Itunes and Android stores.
