Because he is a master of “off the cuff” comedy, you never know what Ian Bagg might say. Having been described as “sarcastic, witty and just plain funny,” Bagg began his comedy career in 1992 in his native Canada and soon made his way to New York City.
There he made several appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, HBO’s Louie Anderson’s Comedy Showcase and Doctor Katz on Comedy Central. He was also invited to perform at the Aspen Comedy Arts Festival and the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. In 2000, Bagg moved to Los Angeles after making his film debut in The Cradle Will Rock.
After appearing on Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Bagg made his debut on The Tonight Show. His film credits include Coyote Ugly, The Purpose, MVP II and MVP III.
In 2007 Ian made a second appearance at the Aspen Comedy Festival and filmed an HBO special called A Comics Climb with Ian Bagg. In love with the art of stand up he was thrilled when The History Channel came knocking and asked him to be a part of the special History of the Joke.
Doing shows in China, Europe, Middle East, Australia and all over North America keeps his frequent flier points high and his knowledge of the world sharp.
