Jeff Dunham Pops the Question to Fitness Model Audrey Murdick

In addition to a successful career, comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham has one more thing to look forward to – marital bliss. Dunham, 49, announced the big news during his show in Columbus, Ohio at the Nationwide Arena, telling his fans that he popped the question to his girlfriend of two years – a fitness model Audrey Murdick – on Christmas Day.

He then went on to let the world know the only way it’s done these days – through Twitter.

“Hey everyone! On Christmas Day, @AudreyMurdick & I got engaged! Big date TBA…” His 31-year old bride-to-be didn’t wait long to confirm the engagement.

“Hi everyone! On Christmas day,  @jeffdunham and I got engaged!! Yay!! Big date TBA. I’m so happy & excited…” Murdick tweeted.

This will be the second time Dunham ties the knot. In November 2008, he split from his first wife of 14 years, Paige Brown, with whom he had three daughters: Bree, Ashlyn and Kenna.

In the course of his career, Dunham has done the unthinkable: he has proven that a ventriloquist can have huge mainstream success. He continues to sell out clubs and theaters around the world. He also recently announced his very first UK Arena tour. Controlled Chaos will take place in April 2012.

Voted by fans the Top Comic in Comedy Central’s “Stand-Up Showdown,” Dunham has everything going his way and we hope it stays like that for a while.
