Joan Rivers Sounds off on Jay Leno and Dane Cook

Whether she’s smoking pot on her hit reality TV show, ridiculing a celebrities’ wardrobe on the red carpet, or perhaps getting another round of Botox, it seems as if comedian Joan Rivers is not ready to give up her title of being the center of attention just yet.

The controversial star stopped by Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Thursday night to discuss the celebrities’ red carpet fashion wardrobe.  The conversation quickly got heated when NBC’s The Tonight Show was brought up.

It came as no surprise that Rivers would express her dislike for the late night show since then-host Johnny Carson blacklisted her for leaving for another show back in the early 80′s. Rivers goes on to say that she had been banned from late night for twenty-four years because of Carson.  During the interview, Joan said the following: “Leno to this day will not have me on.  But he’s not funny, so who gives a shit?”

If you thought the antics stopped there, guess again.  When asked to name a comedian that has never made her laugh Joan said this: “Dane Clark,” referring to Dane Cook. “I don’t even know his stupid name.  Somebody explain it to me because I don’t get it.”

Rivers also had a few choice of words for comedian Chelsea Handler.  When Andy Cohen asked Rivers to describe Handler, she reluctantly pleaded the fifth.  Her reasoning behind it was the following:  ”We were asked by E! not to discuss each other.”

Do I sense some bad blood between these two?  I’ll let you be the judge.  Needless to say that after twenty-four years of being shunned from late night, Rivers is back and with no signs of stopping!
