Joel McHale and Giovanni Ribisi Jump Aboard Ted

Actor Joel McHale, who is known for his role as Jeff Winger on a popular TV show Community is in final negotiations to star alongside Mark Walhberg, Mila Kunis and Seth MacFarlane in an upcoming live action comedy Ted.

The $65 million dollar project was picked up by Universal Pictures and Media Rights Capital. Written by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane the story is simple: the tale of a man and his teddy bear.

McHale will play Rex, a sordid  boss, who tries to get his way with his employee (Kunis). She wants to tie the knot with her boyfriend (Walhberg), but will do it under one condition: he has to reconsider his relationships with his teddy bear that came alive during as a result of a childhood wish.

Giovanni Ribisi, who played Phoebe’s odd  half-brother on a popular sitcom “Friends,” is reportedly jumping on board. He will play Donny, a man who is obsessed with a talking teddy bear.
