Jon Stewart Physically Attacked by Fallon and Colbert after Emmy Win (Watch)

Jon Stewart and his crew over at The Daily Show have dominated the Emmy’s, winning now for the 10th year in a row – to the chagrin of their competition. And speaking of their competition, they were not going down without a fight.

Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon, who were up against Stewart and The Daily Show for Best Variety Series, were seen holding Stewart’s hands as Ricky Gervais announced the winner. Then as Stewart got up to accept his prize, the two jumped out of their seats and tackled him!

“We make topical comedy, which has the shelf life of egg salad,” said Stewart during his acceptance speech. “Nobody cares after five days. So to do this for fifteen years, and to have tangible proof that what we made wasn’t just ephemeral, is wonderful. Years from now, when the Earth is just a burning husk, they will find a box of these, and they will know just how predictible these fucking things can be.”
