Laugh Factory to Stream on Playstation 3

Los Angeles based Laugh Factory
will be streaming content on the Sony Playstation Network, in an attempt to promote their brand. It will be known as Laugh Factory Live and will debut on September 1 for free.
It’s been reported that the free service will not be permanent. When December rolls around, users will have to pay a monthly fee of $3 to continue using the service.
The live shows will come from the Laugh Factory’s Hollywood location. When not broadcasting live, Laugh Factory Live will run archival clips from past performers. However all of these clips are already available for free on YouTube.
Questions now circulate as to whether or not Playstation 3 users will be willing to pay the monthly fee, even if it is $3. Even though Laugh Factory Live offers extra material, will viewers bail the minute they have to pay? Or will the age old strategy of “first taste is on the house” be enough to lure viewers in? Only time will tell.
Got a PS3? Tell us whether or not you think you’ll pay for it.
