Leave the sketch comedy to the comedians

The U.S. Navy has temporarily relieved Capt. Owen Honors for producing explicit videos, in an attempted to provide “humor during the long deployment at sea”, according to ABC News.

Although the Capt. Honors was trying to bring humor on the ship by making these videos, which aired in 2006 and 2007, many people find them offensive and explicit.

“The Navy does not endorse or condone these kinds of actions,” said a spokesman for the Navy’s Fleet Force Command.

But not everyone thinks that the videos are so bad.

“I too was on that deployment. Capt. Honors brought up our moral and provided well needed and appreciated comic relief. ….he brought many smiles to a worn out & tired crew.,” wrote Chief Petty Officer Andrew Hodyl.

Capt. Honors is currently being under investigation for the videos that aired during 2006 and 2007.
