Ricky Gervais Creates New Comedy App, ‘Just Sayin’

ricky gervais, the office, comedy, appBritish comedian Ricky Gervais is becoming more tech savvy these days.  Gervais has partnered with technology company CloudTalk to create a comedy app for iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads.

The app, Just Sayin’, gives users the power to broadcast voice and video along with pictures and text to Twitter and Facebook pages, LaughSpin reported.  Gervais created Just Sayin’ for this purpose because he was longing to put the human voice together with social media.

“Making the human voice a natural part of any social web experience is the next big thing,” Gervais said.  “Voice as a monologue is narcissistic, voice as a dialogue is social; social media is a place where people desire to be both.”

Just Sayin’ includes features of real notifications when a consumer is following posts or replying to a post and cross-posting on Facebook and Twitter, and one-to-one/one-to-many conversations using voice, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Just Sayin’ is to radio what Twitter is to newsprint – I‘m just sayin’!” Gervais said.

The purpose of the app is more for the function of entrepreneurial moves than self-promotion purposes.

So go and explore the app store, download, and check out the beauty of the comedy app, Just Sayin’!
