Will Ferrell Returns to SNL; Will He Bring His Alex Trebek Impersonation With Him?

While Saturday Night Live is still rocking,  we all miss the days of Will Ferrell’s Alex Trebek going back and forth with Darrell Hammond’s Sean Connery.

On Friday it was announced by NBC that Ferrell will return to SNL as a guest host on May 12. The musical guest that night will be none other than Usher. Fans are left wondering what skits from Ferrell’s past will the cast revive? With no Hammond in sight, it might not be possible to bring back the fan favorite Jeopardy skit

The appearance by Ferrell will also help promote a couple of new movies he has coming out. In August, The Campaign, starring himself and Zach Galifianakis hits theaters. According to IMBD the movie depicts, “Two rival North Carolina politicians with presidential aspirations who tangle with one another.”

It was recently announced on the TBS’ Conan that Ferrell is working on a sequel to Anchorman 2. Ferrell left SNL in 2002  to take his talents to Hollywood. He created the hit website FunnyOrDie.Com in 2006.
